The show recently tweeted that the Fab 5 was back in Kansas City for Season 4, writing “Have you missed us? (We missed you too).” They already had a successful run in the city during Season 3 – which is currently streaming – giving people amazing makeovers and helping them love themselves.
During each episode, the cast – known as the Fab 5 – gives people a “make-better” by offering advice on everything from grooming to food, while redecorating their homes and overhauling their wardrobe.
One of their makeovers during Season 3 went to the sisters at Jones Bar-BQ in Kansas City, and it has had incredible results. Not only do the sisters feel better and more confident, but their BBQ sauce is also on backorder, with people waiting for weeks to get their hands on the unique sauce.
Another success story from the show came with help from the fans, as they raised $90,000 for one of the women featured to help her go back to college.
The Queer Eye reboot premiered on Netflix in February 2018 and was an even bigger hit than the original Queer Eye For the Straight Guy that ran on Bravo between 2003 and 2007. A second season quickly followed and the show won three Emmys last September, including Outstanding Structured Reality Program.
The guys have already filmed Season 4 and will start production on Season 5 later this month. However, that won’t appear on the streaming service until 2020.
All five stars of the show recently appeared in Taylor Swift’s new music video for You Need to Calm Down, which is currently the number on trending video on YouTube with over 27 million views.
The first three seasons of Queer Eye are currently available for streaming on Netflix, and Season 4 will be available on July 19th.
